Hazardous Materials Lab Services

TGCL provides analytical services in co-operation with the Lakehead University Centre for Analytical Services (LUCAS) for a variety of hazardous materials. The availability of rapid turnaround for results (i.e. less than 24 hours) provides a unique advantage to TGCL’s clients where the nature of the work will depend on whether or not hazardous materials are present. TGCL’s asbestos laboratory offers Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) analysis for identification of bulk asbestos as well as Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) for the identification of airborne asbestos. TGCL’s hazardous materials laboratory services include:
